| Our Philipsburg Toastmasters Club was officially inaugurated on Thursday December 16, 1994.
The Philipsburg Toastmasters Club was the first club of its kind establish in Philipsburg StMaarten.
The purpose of this Toastmasters club is to help people from all educational levels and background to improve themselves in public speaking as to be good leaders and role models in their community with self-esteem and moral values.
The founding members of this Philipsburg Toastmasters Club are Miguel Arrindell, John Hodge, Rolando Tobias, and Dennis Jeoffrey.
The Philipsburg Toastmasters Club survive the test of times, with an outstanding leader, he was our first Philipsburg Toastmasters president.
That good gentleman is none other than Toastmaster John Hodge. Our Toastmasters theme is, failure is never an option.
